You can install the complete all-in-one solution or keep your old readers, wiring, and credentials and gradually migrate your old system to Kisi. You can start by replacing your controllers with the Kisi Controller Pro 2 to enjoy Kisi’s cloud-based system and benefits. With this option, you can still manage all your locations from a single pane of glass, enhance your security and minimize maintenance costs.
Yes, you can connect Kisi with the building’s main entrance or elevator door that uses a legacy access control system to ensure continuous access from the entrance door. By wiring the existing legacy controller to the Kisi controller, you can utilize Kisi's mobile tap in-app unlocks to unlock the main entrance. This allows for a seamless transition between the two doors, providing a secure and efficient solution for accessing your office with minimal hardware changes.

To ensure your security, cards that are not NFC standards compliant are not supported by Kisi Readers.
Kisi supports many legacy key cards, so you can keep your old credentials when migrating to Kisi. Contact our team for specific info.
Access links and QR codes allow you to create temporary trial access for potential members to unlock doors in your place without signing up for a Kisi account or downloading the mobile app. You can simply send the QR code or link via email to the person that needs temporary access. They can unlock the doors they have been granted access to by clicking the link or scanning the QR code. For better security, set validity dates to specify the period the access link will be active.
